1″ SQUARE CLASSIC EDGE

This site fabricated stretch fabric system is the most popular look due to the square edge and mid-wall profiles. It can be used for both acoustical control or to add to the aesthetics of a design. The edge can be wrapped with fabric (either matching the face fabric or a contrasting fabric) or be left as a plastic edge in natural, black or white. The edge can be extruded in custom colors for an added accent (minimum quantities required). This system is for used on both walls and ceilings and can be used in our multi-inch systems.

1″ Weltless EdgE

This profile has a shorter edge leg which allows for the profile to abut millwork and for terminating a panel in a corner or on a ceiling. Because the edge leg is short, wrapping is not necessary. The short leg will create a 1/8″ shadow gap around millwork, walls and ceilings. It can be used for both acoustical control or to add to the aesthetics of a design. The edge can be extruded in custom colors for an added accent (minimum quantities required). This site fabricated stretch fabric system is for used on both walls and ceilings and can be used in our multi-inch systems.

1″ Concealed Edge with Square Midwall

This edge profile allows for the panels to give the panel edge a floating appearance to the design. The edge of the profile is neatly concealed behind the fabric, there is no double sided adhesive tape to hold the fabric in place (adhesives will dry out and lose their ability to hold); the patented tooth design of the NOVAWALL track holds the fabric firmly in place. It can be used for both acoustical control or to add to the aesthetics of a design. This site fabricated stretch fabric system is for used on both walls and ceilings and can be used in our multi-inch systems.

1/2″ SQUARE EDGE

This site fabricated stretch fabric system is used extensively for tack panels. The edge can be wrapped with fabric (either matching the face fabric or a contrasting fabric) or be left as a plastic edge in natural or black. The edge can be extruded in custom colors for an added accent (minimum quantities required). This system is for used on both walls and ceilings and can be used in our multi-inch systems.

1/2″ Concealed Square Edge

This site fabricated stretch fabric system is used extensively for tack panels that are centered (or “floating”) on a wall. A minimum of 3″ is required from any abutting surface to tuck the fabric as it is a concealed detail and the fabric warps around the side so edges are not exposed. This extrusion comes in black and coconut.

1/2″ Weltless Edge System

This site fabricated stretch fabric system is used extensively for tack panels. The edge is very thin by design and will disappear so the edge can be unwrapped. This extrusion comes in black, light gray, coconut and natural. The edge can be extruded in custom colors for an added accent (minimum quantities required). This system is for used on both walls and ceilings and can be used in our multi-inch systems.

1″ Bevel

This site fabricated stretch fabric system allows for a bevel accent to the design of the panels. This feature is dramatic and the panels will have a raised look to them. The edge is usually wrapped and is a bold look used in any architectural finish application. It can be used for both acoustical control or to add to the aesthetics of a design. This system is for used on both walls and ceilings and can be used in our multi-inch systems.

1″ Square Edge with ⅛” Reveal Midwall

This profile feature allows for a specific width reveal to be created between panels and around panel edges. The advantage to this track being all one piece allows for precision in installation. Using 2 edge pieces side by side to create a reveal is more expensive and labor intensive. The ⅛” reveal insert color is black matte. It can be used for both acoustical control or to add to the aesthetics of a design. This site fabricated stretch fabric system is for used on both walls and ceilings and can be used in our multi-inch systems.

1″ Square Edge with ¼” Reveal Midwall

This profile feature allows for a specific width reveal to be created between panels and around panel edges. The advantage to this track being all one piece allows for precision in installation. Using 2 edge pieces side by side to create a reveal is more expensive and labor intensive. The standard ¼” edge and midwall reveal insert colors are black matte and coconut (off-white). It can be used for both acoustical control or to add to the aesthetics of a design. This site fabricated stretch fabric system is for used on both walls and ceilings and can be used in our multi-inch systems.

1″ Square Edge with ½” Reveal Midwall

This profile feature allows for a specific width reveal to be created between panels and around panel edges. The advantage to this track being all one piece allows for precision in installation. Using 2 edge pieces side by side to create a reveal is more expensive and labor intensive. The standard half inch edge and midwall reveal insert colors are black matte and coconut (off-white). Other inserts have been used in the half inch reveal such as bar stock, laminate and wood. Please check with your local NOVAWALL distributor for compatibility of other insert material. It can be used for both acoustical control or to add to the aesthetics of a design. This site fabricated stretch fabric system is for used on both walls and ceilings and can be used in our multi-inch systems.

Typical Multi-Inch System

All of the NOVAWALL profiles can be used in a multi-inch system. This type of system is typically used to control room acoustics. NOVAWALL uses fire treated wood furring to bring the system out to the depth required. The track system (half inch or 1″ whichever is specified) is attached to the furring. The furring and the track edges are wrapped so the wood is not exposed. NOVAWALL uses this method as plastic extrusions thicker than 1″ will probably not pass the ASTM E-84 tests. These site fabricated stretch fabric systems can be used on both walls and ceilings.

1” Eco Track (Non-PVC)

NOVAWALL EcoTRACK is:  100% PVC Free | Class A Fire Rated | 100% Recyclable

In response to concern over PVC based building materials, NOVAWALL Systems, Inc. researched several plastic compounds for two years before finding a PVC Free alternative that has the same strengths and attributes as our PVC based products. A Class A Fire rating for complete compliance with the building codes was required, this was the difficult part as most plastics have very high smoke development.
Now NOVAWALL offers a completely PVC Free, Class A, 100% recyclable plastic extrusion: NOVAWALL EcoTRACK.
NOVAWALL Systems, Inc. has added EcoTRACK to their line of products to expand the choices available to the design community and specifiers.
NOVAWALL will continue to produce their standard line of PVC based products as they too have redeeming environmental qualities (durability, ease of maintenance, and 100% recyclability).
The NOVAWALL systems all have sustainable, environmentally friendly attributes depending on the components chosen for the system and can contribute to several LEED credits.
NOVAWALL Systems, Inc. has been in support of the sustainable building movement since 2002 and a member of the USGBC since 2003.
